The Isabella Foundation's mission is to educate parents, to inform lawmakers, to provide help for troubled children and teens, and to emotionally and financially support families of other children who have taken their own lives as a result of bullying.
The Isabella Foundation works toward this mission in several ways:
By offering educational seminars, materials and social media communications to alert parents and guardians to the dangers of bullying and to provide guidance regarding potential remedies
By providing testimony to local, state and federal agencies that deal with bullying and its detrimental effects as well as to provide testimony before local, state and/or federal legislatures considering statutory remedies
By funding events and published materials (written and recorded) that raise awareness regarding bullying and the inherent dangers as well as the potential negative impact on adolescents, teenagers and their families
By funding funeral and related expenses for families with children who have taken their own lives as a result of cruel bullying
By making contributions (when deemed appropriate by the board of directors) to other 501(c)(3) organizations that have similar purposes and/or 501(c)(3) organizations that provide youth programs and activities that support youth mental health, such as youth outdoors activities to include but not be limited to hunting, fishing and other adult-led activities that help counter the effects of bullying
